September 16, 2019

  • A vehicle driven by Curtis Whited of Earlham was traveling in the 2000 block of Main Street when a vehicle driven by Robert Greenway of Van Meter was backing up and struck Whited’s vehicle. Damage was estimated at $2,000.
  • Anna Boot of Adel reported a scam in the 300 block of N. 16th Street. No loss occurred.

September 17, 2019

  • A 10-year-old male of Adel was arrested for first-degree criminal mischief and trespassing.
  • Donna Betty Joe Cook, 40, of 101 First Ave., #28, Slater, was arrested for trespassing.
  • A 14-year-old female of Adel was arrested for assault.

September 18, 2019

  • Mark Cadwell of Adel reported vandalism in the 1500 block of Greene Street. Damages were estimated at $400.

September 19, 2019

  • Jennifer Ann Graham, 22, of 1756 E. Lacona Ave., Des Moines, was arrested for OWI.
  • John Golightly of Adel reported a theft in the 700 block of Greene Street. The item was returned.
  • A 16-year-old male of Adel was arrested for fourth-degree criminal mischief.
  • Nicholas Keith Clayton, 29, of 502 E. Fourth St., Woodward, was arrested on two Dallas County warrants for probation violations.
  • Nichole Nerissa Wentland, 28, of 612 Prairie St., Adel, was arrested on a Dallas County warrant for failure to appear.

September 20, 2019

  • Tyler Eugene Worthington, 26, of 2065 White Pole Road, Casey, was arrested for driving while license under suspension.

September 21, 2019

  • Kelly Croft of Adel reported credit card fraud in the 1400 block of Greene Street. the loss was estimated at $303.
  • David Peterson of Adel reported a theft in the 1400 block of Greene Street. The loss was estimated at $150.
  • Brianna Cheree Kotowski, 28, of 219 N. 12th St., Adel, was arrested for public intoxication.
  • The Adel Lions Club reported a theft in the 100 block of Nile Kinnick Drive N. The loss was estimated at $10.

September 22, 2019

  • John T. Jones Construction of Fargo, N.D., reported a possible theft in the 200 block of N. Fifth Street. No loss occurred.

September 23, 2019

  • Brianna Cheree Kotowski, 28, of 219 N. 12th St., Adel, was arrested for domestic abuse assault.
  • Wells Fargo of Adel reported a theft in the 1100 block of Rapids Street. The loss was estimated at $100.
  • A vehicle driven by Leilah Harrison of Adel was stopped in the 800 block of Nile Kinnick Drive S. when a vehicle driven by Carter Seaholm of Adel struck Harrison’s vehicle from behind. Damage was estimated at $800.

September 24, 2019

  • Jennifer Louw of Adel reported a forgery in the 100 block of Nile Kinnick Drive N. The loss was estimated at $2,222.

September 25, 2019

  • Keith R. Hunter, 28, of 2715 S.W. 23rd St, #252, Des Moines, was arrested on a Polk County warrant on an original charge fraudulent practice.
  • Lee Griebel of Perry reported a theft in the 800 block of Nile Kinnick Drive S. The item was returned.
  • Casey’s General Store of Adel reported criminal mischief in the 800 block of Greene Street. Damages were estimated at $300.
  • Koby Brian Hunnicutt, 22, of 101 N. 22nd St., Marshalltown, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

September 26, 2019

  • James Patrick Michael Frazier, 34, of 311 Fillmore St., Winterset, was arrested for public intoxication.
  • Casey’s General Store of Adel reported a theft in the 800 block of Greene Street. The item was estimated at $39.

September 27, 2019

  • P. J. Cubacub Candiano, 32, of 1316 Orchard St., Adel, was arrested for burglary from a vehicle and attempted burglary from a vehicle.
  • Michael Cole Joint, 37, of 1630 Main St., Adel, was arrested for domestic abuse assault.
  • A vehicle driven by Tammie Smith of Des Moines was backing up in the 600 block of S. 12th Street when her vehicle struck a vehicle owned by Angie Collins of Waukee. Damage was estimated at $100.

September 28, 2019

  • Shayla Marie Khounxay, 18, of 709 Dallas St., DeSoto, was arrested for driving while license under suspension.
