Anthony McCain, 49, of Grand Junction and formerly of Perry passed away Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2021, at his home in Grand Junction, Iowa, from complications of asthma.
A visitation in his honor will be Saturday, Oct. 30 from 2-4 p.m. at the Carris Family Funeral Home and Cremation Care in Perry. Anthony James McCain was born Oct. 19, 1971, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Linda Sue McCain.
He graduated from Perry High School with the class of 1990.
Anthony was a self-employed animal breeder for many years and enjoyed studying genetics.
In death he rejoins his grandma, Mabel McCain; grandparents, Rolland and Joan Gilmore; and step-fathers, John Feth and Gary Gilmore.
Left to cherish Anthony’s memory are his mother, Linda; his brother, Matt (Summer) Gilmore; sister, Amanda Gilmore; and many other relatives and friends.
