Dallas County’s political partisans are rounding the turn and rounding the corner on the 2020 general election campaigns, with the GOP’s Trump Train Parade Trifecta hosting a mask-free rally Monday at the Dallas County Courthouse.

The Dallas County Democrats offered replacement candidate yard signs Monday afternoon in a drive-though event at Centennial Park in Waukee. Supporters who Biden-Harris signs disappeared since they placed them or were damaged by the snow, rain and wind may acquire replacements all week from Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 1526 Greene St. in Adel.

Supporters of U.S. President Donald J. Trump gather at the Dallas County Fairgrounds Monday for a Trump Train Parade Trifecta, paid for by the Dallas County GOP. The line of Trump supporters in motor vehicles paraded to the Dallas County Courthouse about 5:30 p.m., where the partisans were treated to speeches by U.S. Ambassador to China and former Iowa Gov. Terry E. Branstad and a full slate of Dallas County Republican candidates, none of whom wore face masks or appeared to social distance.
