Betty “Lorraine” Godwin Holtman, 89, of Harrisburg, Pa., died peacefully Sunday, Jan. 21, 2018, at Greenfield Senior Living at Graysonview.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 31 at 11 a.m. at the Carris Family Funeral Home and Cremation Care in Perry. Burial will be in the Violet Hill Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Caring Hospice, 101 Good Dr., Lancaster, PA 17603 or to the charity of your choice.

Mrs. Holtman was born in Scranton, Iowa, and was the daughter of the late George “Earl” and Sarah “Christene” (Draisey) Plum.

In addition to living in Perry, Iowa, she and her husband, Ted Godwin, lived in Des Moines, Omaha, Timonium, Md., Towaco, N.J., and Fresno, Calif., before moving to the Pinehurst, N.C. area.

She enjoyed her family, friends and playing golf and bridge.

She moved to Pennsylvania in 2014 to be close to her daughter.

Mrs. Holtman was predeceased by her first husband, Harold “Theodore” Godwin; her second husband, John M. Holtman; her son, Douglas Godwin; and her brothers, Roy Plum and Richard Plum.

Mrs. Holtman is survived by her daughter, Connie (Gary) Miller Herr of Harrisburg; her sons, Daniel (Jenine) Godwin of Walker, Minn., and David (Loui Young) Godwin of Charlotte, N.C.; her step-sons, John N. Holtman of Quarryville, Pa., and Ronald (Pru) Holtman of Wooster, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Roger Plum of North Carolina.
