A chili supper to benefit a Carlisle senior who suffered serious injuries in an automobile accident will be held before and during Friday's game with visiting Perry.

CARLISLE — Perry basketball fans are invited to join the Carlisle community at a Chili Benefit from 5:15-8 p.m. Friday at the Carlisle High School. The girls and boys basketball teams will be playing each other in Raccoon River Conference action beginning at 6 p.m.

All proceeds from the benefit, at which a free will offering will be taken, will be given to the family of Carlisle senior McKeehan Spragg, who was in a car accident Sept. 11. Spragg broke his upper back thoracic level T2/3 and suffered a complete spinal cord injury. He recently returned home after extensive rehab in Colorado.
