Services for Charles Herman Springer Jr., 89, of Clear Lake will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 11 at the Hastings Funeral Home in Perry, with burial in Violet Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be at 9 a.m. Friday until time of the service.
Charlie died at his home in Clear Lake, Iowa, Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019.
Among Charlie’s survivors are his three sons, Richard of Creston, Gary of Phoenix, Ariz., and Lynn of Clear Lake; and two sisters, Irene Hanselman of Perry and Vivian Smotherman of Perry.
Memorials in Charlie’s name will be accepted at Hasting’s Funeral Home in Perry for the family’s later designation.
