Charles Larry Schultze, 73, of Bouton died Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015.
The family plans a private service at a later date.
Larry was born and raised in Adel and graduated from Adel High School in 1960.
He was an employee of Oscar Meyer until the plant sold, and then he retired from the state of Iowa, working at the Commission for the Blind.
Larry’s passion was hunting, fishing and making daily trips to his family cabin in the timber to feed the wildlife.
He was preceded in death by his son, Wade Schultze; parents, Fred and Irene Schultze; and two brothers, Robert and Russell Schultze.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Judy; three beautiful granddaughters, Brittany (Jason) Graves, Taryn Schultze and Lexi (Sergio) Gonzalez; and one great-granddaughter, Maya Gonzalez.
