Christopher “Chris” Larson, 40, of Perry passed away Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016, at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, Dec. 10 at 1 p.m. at the Carris Family Funeral Home in Perry.
Following the memorial service, the family invites friends to also gather at the Whistling Donkey in Woodward to share memories and celebrate Chris’ life.

Christopher “Chris” Alan Larson was born April 24, 1976, in Des Moines to Eugene Floyd and Kathryn Jean (Gronwall) Larson.
He attended school at Woodward-Granger.
He was united in marriage to Susanne Marie Twit at the family farm May 18, 2013.
He was proud to have served as a volunteer fireman in Woodward, like his great-grandfather.
Chris loved spending time with his family, especially with Sue the love of his life.
He enjoyed his dogs, photography, fishing and golfing.
He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Larson; and his grandparents.
Chris is survived by his wife, Susanne Larson of Perry; mother, Kathryn (Wendy Mickle) Larson of Woodland Park, Colo.; two sons, Colton and Mason Larson of Woodward; and a sister, Raquel (Lance) Robison of Colorado Springs, Colo.
