Many Perry-area school districts canceled Friday classes in advance of the snow storm forecast by the National Weather Service.
Classes are canceled in the Perry Community School District and the St. Patrick Catholic School.
Other Perry-area cancelations include:

- Coon Rapids-Bayard Community School District: Closed Friday
- Earlham Community School District: Closed Friday
- Greene County Community School District: Closed Friday
- Madrid Community School District: Closed Friday
- Ogden Community School District: Closed Friday
- Urbandale Community School District: Closed Friday
- West Central Valley Community School District: Closed Friday
- West Des Moines Community School District: Closed Friday
- Woodward-Granger Community School District: Closed Friday
