The Crossroads Church in Perry will host its annual Garage Free non-cost giveaway event Saturday, June 2 at 2810 First Ave. from 8 a.m. until noon.[wpedon id=”82220″ align=”center”]
“Everything is free!” said Heather Karolus of the Crossroads Church. “This is the 12th year Crossroads has sponsored this event, which is intended solely to bless the community. In previous years, we’ve had donations of clothing, home decor, furniture, kitchenware, exercise equipment, bicycles, toys, electronics and even pianos.”
Donations of clean, usable items will be accepted at the Crossroads Church until Thursday, May 31. Tube TVs and computer monitors will not be accepted. Donors should call the church in advance to ensure the auditorium is open or to schedule a drop-off time.
“Who knows what will show up this year?” Karolus said.
