- Jason Lippold of Underwood was traveling on U.S. Interstate 80 near the 104 mile marker when he lost control of his vehicle, which collided with the cable barriers. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $10,000.

- Cheryl Osborn, 49, of 2444 N. Fourth Ave. W., Newton, was arrested for two counts of possession of controlled substance, possession of dug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of prescription drugs.
