April 19, 2024
- Rudolph Zagar, 39, of 2602 McKinley St., Perry, was arrested for violation of a no-contact order.
- Dezirae Kinkefus, 24, of 2272 Viceroy Trail, Panora, was arrested for two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Chase Carrick of Granger was traveling on Iowa Highway 141 near Seminole Avenue when his vehicle collided with a vehicle, driven by Mersaydes Burk of Woodward. No injuries were reported. Damage to Burk’s car was estimated at $8,000, and damage to Carrick’s vehicle was estimated at $9,000. Carrick was issued a citation for failure to obey a stop sign and yield the right of way.

- Stephen Faulkner, 72, of 616 12th St., West Des Moines, was cited and released for driving while revoked.
- Jeremy Hill, 42, of 515 S. Fifth St., Carlisle, was cited and released for possession of a controlled substance, registration violation and failure to provide proof of financial liability.
- Ta Shauna Johnson, 29, of 1312 N. Eighth St., Burlington, was cited and released for possession of a controlled substance and person ineligible to carry dangerous weapon.
- Alijah Ford, 21, of 1315 Sixth Ave., Des Moines, was cited and released for possession of a controlled substance.
- Tyreisha Chaplin, 31, of 400 E. McKinley Ave., Des Moines, was cited and released for possession of a controlled substance.
- Jamison Colligan of Adel was traveling southbound on J Avenue near Iowa Highway 44 when his vehicle collided with a vehicle, driven by Jeremy Steeve of Adel. Steeve was pulling a trailer, which became unattached in the collision and struck a vehicle, driven by Quincy Beck of Grimes. Colligan was transported to Methodist Medical Center by Dallas County EMS. Damage to Colligan’s vehicle was estimated at $15,000. Damage to Steeve’s vehicle and trailer was estimated at $10,000, and damage to Beck’s vehicle was estimated at $10,000.

- Eboni Jones, 32, of 907 S.E. Ninth St., Des Moines, was arrested for OWI, speeding and no insurance.
- Paul Ferris, 53, of 2801 S.E. Ridge Crest St., Grimes, was arrested for OWI and issued a citation for failure to obey traffic control device.
- Tyler Hankins, 53, of 5416 S.W. 17th St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while suspended.
