- Wyatt Boston of Van Meter was traveling in the 32000 block of Ute Avenue when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $2,000.

- The Cenex at 13780 N Ave. reported the theft of gasoline.
- The Heartland Coop in Redfield reported the theft of skid loader forks from their property.
- Kayla Mae Heatherington, 27, of 509 W. Church St., Marshalltown, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation on an original charge of theft.
- Corey Michael Hoover, 33, of 809 William St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of public intoxication.
- Andrew Lee Edwards, 35, of 620 John Goodhue Road, Carlisle, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for sentencing.
- Russell Jacobson of Winterset was traveling west in the 14000 block of U.S. Highway 6 when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $5,000.
April 5, 2018
- Scott Lee Coe, 47, of 3067 Talon Ave., Menlo, was arrested in the 300 block of State Street in Dexter for driving while barred-habitual offender.
