- Jennifer Kylie Jones, 29, of 727 S.E. Dartmore Dr., Waukee, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation on original charges of driving while barred and theft.
- Christopher James Nau, 36, of 1145 S.E. Olson Dr., Waukee, was arrested on a warrant for contempt of court–violation of a no-contact order on an original charge of harassment.
- Elle Hook of De Soto was traveling northbound near the intersection of Guthrie and Spruce streets in De Soto when she was struck by a vehicle attempting to cross the highway driven by Mark Doyle of De Soto. No injuries were reported. Damage to Hook’s vehicle was estimated at $6,000, and damage to Doyle’s vehicle was estimated at $9,000. Doyle was issued a citation for failure to obey stop sign/failure to yield right of way.
- Charles Theodore Shroyer, 39, of 901 Birch St., Atlantic, was cited and released in the 32000 block of 240th Street in Dallas Center for driving while license suspended and no insurance.
August 10, 2018
- Grant Luther of Waukee was approaching the intersection of W Avenue and 190th Street when his vehicle was struck on the front and side by a vehicle driven by Ryan Biederman of Dallas Center. No injuries were reported. Damage to Luther’s vehicle was estimated at $7,000, and damage to Biederman’s vehicle was estimated at $3,000. Biederman was arrested for failure to yield half of roadway, no insurance and OWI.
