- Brian Johnson, 48, of 819 Ashmore Circle, West Des Moines, was arrested for driving while barred and issued citations for speeding, open container and driving while license denied, suspended, cancelled or revoked.
Aug. 11, 2021
- Anthony Mortale of Waukee was traveling northbound on W Avenue when he ran a stop sign and struck a vehicle, driven by Tracy Chretien of Prairieville, Louisiana. No injuries were reported. Damage to Mortale’s vehicle was estimated at $8,000, and damage to Chretien’s vehicle was estimated at $15,000. Mortale was issued a citation for failure to obey stop sign/yield right of way.
- Shawn Knudsen, 29, of 6107 Urbandale Ave., Des Moines, was arrested on two warrants for failure to appear on original charges of second-degree theft and two counts of unauthorized use of credit card under $1,500.
