- Evan Williams of New Albany, Ind., was traveling south on U.S. Highway 169 and attempting to turn onto eastbound Iowa Highway 141 when the vehicle he was driving left the roadway and struck a light pole. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $7,000, and damage to the light pole was estimated at $1,500.
August 27, 2019
- Lanae Monique James, 25, of 2634 E. Walnut, Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation on an original charge of OWI.
- Tabetha Suzanne Tingwald, 44, of 17807 130th St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving under suspension.
- Jane Mild of Guthrie Center was traveling east on State Street in Dexter when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $1,500.
