Dec. 9, 2021
- Timothy Murray of Van Meter was traveling in the 25000 block of 360th Street in a De Soto Fire Department vehicle when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $500. The crew proceeded to the original call they were dispatched to in Van Meter.
Dec. 10, 2021
- Sydney Watson, 21, of 1927 N.W. 80th Place, Clive, was arrested for OWI and issued citations for failure to maintain control and failure to provide proof of financial liability. Watson was traveling in the 32000 block of 360th Street when she lost control of her vehicle, which rolled it into the ditch. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated ar $3,000.
- Charles Elmquist of Atlantic was traveling in the 35000 block of Ute Avenue in an Iowa DOT truck when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $500.
Dec. 11, 2021
- Corey Hall of Bouton was traveling in the 29000 block of 240th Street when he lost control of his vehicle, which entered the ditch. Hall was transported by Dallas County EMS to Mercy One Medical Center. Damage was estimated at $8,000.
- Graham Boehm of Adel was traveling in the 27000 block of N Avenue when his vehicle struck a cow that escaped from the Dallas County Fairgrounds. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $10,000.
Dec. 12, 2021
- Alberto Nolasco, 20, of 3700 Patricia Dr., Urbandale, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.
