- A juvenile from Dawson was traveling in the 18000 block of 130th Street when the left wheel fell off his truck and struck a vehicle, driven by Casey Riley of Dawson. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $1,000 to the juvenile’s vehicle and $7,000 to Riley’s vehicle.
- A juvenile from Adair was traveling in the 35000 block of Del Rio Road when he swerved to avoid deer on the road, and the vehicle entered the ditch and overturned. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $7,500.
- Heidi Love of Perry was traveling in the 14000 block of Iowa Highway 141 at F Avenue when she slowed and signaled to make a turn, and her vehicle was struck from behind by a vehicle, driven by Richard Webb of Jefferson. All parties were examined at the scene by Dallas County EMS and refused transport. Damage to Love’s vehicle was estimated at $15,000, and damage to Webb’s vehicle was estimated damaged at $15,000. Webb was arrested for OWI and issued a citation for failure to stop in assured clear distance.
