Dec. 20, 2021
- Kevin McCafferty of West Des Moines was traveling on Iowa Highway 44 near El Paso Avenue when he attempted to pass a vehicle, driven by Aaron Fives of Linden, that was attempting to turn onto El Paso Avenue. McCafferty’s vehicle collided with Fives’ vehicle, and both vehicles left the roadway and entered a corn field. No injuries were reported. Damage to McCafferty’s vehicle was estimated at $1,500 damage, and damage to Fives’ vehicle was estimated at $2,000 damage.
- Benjiman Searl, 39, of 410 W. Market St., Panora, was arrested for driving while barred.
Dec. 21, 2021
- Daniel Kading, 32, of 2230 Windflower Dr., Norwalk, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.
- Ruben Diaz, 25, of 1278 S.E. Granite Dr., Waukee, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.
