- Sui Za Thawng of 908 Prairie View Dr., West Des Moines, was traveling south on Iowa Highway 141 and failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway, and his vehicle continued straight onto County Road R22 and then into the east ditch. No injuries were reported. Damage to Thawng’s vehicle was estimated at $5,000. Thawng was issued a citation for failure to maintain control.

- Samantha Mae Gohn, 19, of 632 Maverick Lane, Madrid, was arrested in the 27000 block of Iowa Highway 141 for possession of drug paraphernalia and was issued a citation for possessing alcohol underage.
February 28, 2018
- Tiara Dawn Stanek, 25, of 1306 Second St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for violation of probation on an original charge of unlawful possession of subscription drugs.
