- Gregory Lawrence Hughes, 48, of 809 Cade Court, De Soto, was cited and released in the 27000 block of N Avenue for driving while license suspended.
- Mark Horak of Waukee was traveling west near the intersection of 240th Street and W Avenue when he was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Paige Johnston of Panora. No injuries were reported. Damage to Johnston’s vehicle was estimated at $4,500, and damage to Horak’s vehicle was estimated at $2,500.
- George Dobrzynski of Adel was traveling east in the 29000 block of Iowa Highway 141 when he swerved to avoid a vehicle passing him, and his vehicle entered the south ditch, striking a utility pole and a driveway alarm box. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $6,000. Damage to the driveway alarm box was estimated at $300, and damage to the utility pole was estimated at $3,500.
- Zachariah Ellen Dub Schulte, 28, of 212 Maple Ave., Lytton, was arrested on a warrant for eluding, unlawful possession of prescription drugs and possess of a controlled substance.
- Kara Jones of Dallas Center was stopped at the stop light at the intersection of 190th Street and Iowa Highway 141 Diagonal when she was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Richard Buscher of Minburn. No injuries were reported. Damage to Jones’ vehicle was estimated at $800, and damage to Buscher’s vehicle was estimated at $1,000. Buscher was issued a citation for failure to stop in assured clear distance.

- Dusty Lee Crannell, 36, of 504 Milwaukee St., Madrid, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation on an original charge of domestic abuse assault.
January 14, 2018
- Kersey Sar Shande, 26, of 618 S. 18th St., Fort Dodge, was arrested in the 18000 block of Iowa Highway 141 Diagonal for driving while license under suspension and possession of drug paraphernalia.
