- Christopher Lund of Waukee was traveling north in the 25000 block of U.S. Highway 169 when he signaled and slowed down to turn left into a driveway and was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Dalton Hews of Adel. Minor injuries were reported. Damage to Lund’s vehicle was estimated at $8000, and damage to Hews’ vehicle was estimated at $10,000. Hews was cited for failure to stop in an assured clear distance.
