- Gregory Hawbaker of Dallas Center was traveling on 14th Street near Cherry Street in Dallas Center when his vehicle was struck by a vehicle, driven by Ryan Rush of Waukee. No injuries were reported. Damage to Rush’s vehicle was estimated at $100, and damage to Hawbaker’s vehicle was estimated at $1,200.

- Connor Stuhr of Casey was traveling on State Street in Dexter when his vehicle stuck a stop sign. No injuries were reported. Damage to Stuhr’s vehicle was estimated at $100, and damage to the stop sign was estimated at $500.
Jan. 20, 2024
- Bruce Pierce, 66, of 110 Bel Aire Dr., Waukee, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
- Hearns Sanchez, 34, of 1626 N.W. 84th St., Clive, was arrested on a warrant for OWI.
Jan. 21, 2024
- Paul Woody of Perry was traveling on W Avenue near 190th Street while using GPS to navigate when his vehicle became airborne and landed in brush. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $25,000.
