Jan. 6, 2023
- Pamala Mosley of Grimes was traveling on 270th Street near U Avenue when her vehicle collided with a vehicle, driven by Matthew Osmundson of Boone. Mosley was transported to a Des Moines hospital by Waukee EMS. Damage to Mosley’s vehicle was estimated at $24,000, and damage to Osmundson’s vehicle was estimated at $12,000.
- Dustin Myers, 48, of 610 Walnut St., Minburn, was arrested for OWI.
- Charles Balius, 44, of 2110 Grand Ave., West Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
Jan. 7, 2023
- Alan Wicks of Minburn was traveling in the 19000 of 240th Street when his vehicle collided with a vehicle, driven by Stephanie Harris of Dallas Center. Minor injuries were reported, but no one was transported by Dallas County EMS. Damage to Wicks’ vehicle was estimated at $10,000, and damage to Harris’ vehicle was estimated at $5,000. Wicks was issued a citation for failure to maintain control.
- Abdallah Ekyoci of Des Moines was traveling on Iowa Highway 141 near Wendover Avenue when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. D was estimated at $3,000.
- Cirama Bangura, 26, of 408 E. North St., Algona, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and driving while suspended.
Jan. 8, 2023
- Arnold Gomez, 21, of 1620 Otley Ave., Perry, was arrested on warrants for failure to appear on original charges were driving while suspended.
Jan. 9, 2023
- Peyton Harvey of Ames was traveling on W Avenue near 250th Street when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $1,500.
