July 12, 2021
- Shayla McMains of Perry was traveling eastbound on Iowa Highway 141 when she lost control of her vehicle, which crossed over the westbound lanes before entering the ditch. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $1,500. McMains was issued a citation for failure to maintain control.
- Sergio D. Abuyoumm, 32, of 1025 28th St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.
July 13, 2021
- Spencer Erb, 27, of 716 Fourth Ave. E., Spencer, was arrested for unlawful possession of prescription drug and possession of contraband in a correctional institution.
- Jennifer Hoben of Adel was stopped at a stop sign on the exit ramp of U.S. Interstate 80 and waiting for the traffic to clear before entering U.S. Highway 169 when her vehicle was struck by a vehicle, driven by Joseph Davison of Adel. No injuries were reported. Damage to Hoben’s vehicle was estimated at $1,500, and damage to Davison’s vehicle was estimated at $1,800. Davison was issued a citation for failure to stop in assured clear distance.
- Rock Moo, 57, of 4653 Kansas Ave., Omaha, Nebraska, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
- Tiara Stanek, 27, of 3317 E 15th St, Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for assault causing serious injury.
