July 12, 2023
- Abdullah Haran of Cedar Rapids was traveling eastbound in the 15000 block of Iowa Highway 141 when he lost control of his vehicle, which left the roadway and entered a nearby corn field. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $3000.
July 13, 2023
- Brandon Richards of Winterset was traveling northbound in the 36000 block of Tabor Road when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $2,000. Damage to a fence was estimated at $500, and damage to the corn stalks in the field was estimated at $100.
- Robert Mulder of Dallas Center was traveling west on 250th Street when his vehicle was struck by a vehicle, driven by Jocelann Christiansen of Grimes. No serious injuries reported. One passenger was transported by EMS for precautionary reasons. Damage to Mulder’s vehicle was estimated at $2,000, and damage to Christiansen’s vehicle was estimated at $5,000. Christiansen was issued a citation for failure to obey yield intersection.
- Amanda Martin of Adel was traveling near the intersection of I Court and Willis Avenue in Perry when her vehicle was struck by a vehicle, driven by Victoria Medy of Lynnwood, Washington. Minor injuries were reported. Damage to Martin’s vehicle estimated at $7,500, and damage to Medy’s vehicle was estimated at $5,000. Medy was issued a citation for failure to obey stop sign and yield right of way.
- Emily Sue Six Branchcomb, 38, of 319 N. Seventh St., Adel, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving under suspension.
- Nicholas Benito Miller, 44, of 3244 S.E. 20th St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for probation violationon an original charge of theft.
- Xena Jane Dueling, 26, of 819 Thomas St., Redfield, was arrested at this address for possession of drug paraphernalia.
July 14, 2023
- Andrew Joseph Gafford, 37, of 15084 M Ave., Bouton, was arrested in the 19000 block of N Avenue in Minburn for OWI.
- Kelsey Morgan Berman, 31, 15614 Ridgemont Dr., Urbandale, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation on an original charge of child endangerment.
