- Kory Chestnut of Earlham was traveling westbound on 240th Street when he attempted to turn northward onto Idaho Place and took the corner too wide, and the semi and trailer entered the ditch, rolling onto the driver’s side. Chestnut was examined by Dallas County EMS at the scene but declined transport. Damage was estimated at $25,000. Chestnut was issued a citation for failure to maintain control.
- Grabiel Garcia, 40, of 2021 Fourth St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.
- Carrie Hansen, 44, of 4730 N.E. 27th Court, Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for second-degree theft.
- Damarion Napoleon, 26, of 4701 Pleasant St., West Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
- Keneathea Williams, 23, of 6700 S.W. Ninth St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while barred.
- Brandon Doerring, 31, of 605 Watrous Ave., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for absconding on original charges of first-degree theft, second-degree theft, eluding, assault on persons in certain occupations, first-offense possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine and first-offense OWI.
- Jared Umbaugh, 39, of 508 Bridge St., Redfield, was arrested on a warrant for parole violation.
