- Bethany Shaffer of Perry was traveling east on Iowa Highway 141 when her vehicle dropped off the roadway and onto the shoulder. Shaffer attempted to correct the vehicle but lost control, and the vehicle went into a sideways slide, entering the ditch and rolling onto its top. A passenger in the vehicle was transported to Mercy Main by Dallas County EMS. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $5,000.
