- Cynthia Voorhees of Urbandale was traveling in the 31000 block of Ute Avenue when she slowed down to turn into a private driveway and was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Samuel Isaak of Waukee. No injuries were reported. Damage to Voorhees’ vehicle was estimated at $2,500, and damage to Isaak’s vehicle was estimated at $3,000. Isaak was cited for failure to stop in an assured cleared distance.
July 23, 2018
- Todd Riesberg of Dawson was traveling west near the intersection of B Avenue and 141st Street when he slowed and signaled to turn south onto B Avenue and was struck by a vehicle driven by Lucas Svoboda of Jefferson, who was attempting to pass Riesberg. No injuries were reported. Damage to each vehicle was estimated to be under $1,000.
