June 16, 2021
- Alan Peitz of Perry was traveling westbound on Iowa Highway 141 when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $5,000.
- Donna Cook, 42, of 1400 Gateway Hills Dr., Ames, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while license denied, suspended, cancelled or revoked.
- Tyler Thurston, 32, of 3114 Cottonwood Dr., Waukee, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on original charges of controlled substance violation, child endangerment and unlawful possession of prescription drug.
- Ciara M. Bock, 29, of 3468 Scenic Vista Dr., West Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
June 17, 2021
- Christopher Higginson of Landenberg, Pennsylvania, was traveling westbound on U.S. Interstate 80 near the 105 mile marker when a deer entered the roadway, causing Higginson to swerve, and his vehicle entered the median and came to rest against the cable barrier. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $20,000.
