- Alexa Seiler of Adel was traveling east in the 27000 block of U.S. Highway 6 when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $2,500.
June 20, 2017
- Jake Allen Cretsinger, 19, of 430 Gray Ave., Waukee, was arrested at the 22000 block of 240th Street for OWI.
- Jerry Ecker of Plymouth, In., was traveling in the 22000 block of Iowa Highway 44 when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $1500.
- Delores Davis of 29948 H Ave., Adel, reported the theft of jewelry from her home.

- Chris Scantlin of 18047 130th St., Perry, reported the theft of two gate hinges off his gate.
June 23, 2017
- Madison Kae Stonehocker, 22, of 2121 Greene St., Adel, was cited and released in the 21000 block of Old Highway 6 for driving while license suspended.
- Jesus Ramon Gomez, 19, of 1224 Fifth St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of theft.
- Devin Moody of Adel was traveling in the 27000 block of 340th Trail in Van Meter when he lost control going around the curve to avoid a deer and went into the west ditch, striking a tree. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $3,000. Moody was issued a citation for failure to maintain control.
June 24, 2017
- Andrew Michael Knode, 28, of 2121 Green St., Adel, reported someone broke into his storage unit located at 27741 Fairground Rd. in Adel. No property was missing.
June 25, 2017
- Kurt Douglas Sproston, 50, of Waukee was arrested on a warrant for probation violation on an original charge of domestic abuse assault.
- Brandon Michael Beattie, 31, of Pleasantville was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a show-cause hearing.
