June 6, 2018

  • Elizabeth Ann Scott, 36, of 1370 N.W. 18th St., Ankeny, was arrested on a warrant for violation of probation on an original charge of operating a vehicle without owner’s consent.
  • David Charles McChesney of 250 S.E. Trillium Dr., Waukee, was traveling east on U.S. Interstate 80 when he attempted to pass on the right a semi-tractor trailer driven by Kelly D. Braasch of 534 N. Ninth St., Seward, Neb., that was traveling in the left lane. As McChesney was passing Braasch’s vehicle, he observed construction cones ahead and attempted to merge into the left lane in front of Braasch’s vehicle. McChesney’s vehicle was struck from behind, causing his vehicle to spin and come to rest in the median, causing damage to the cable barrier. No injuries were reported. Damage to McChesney’s vehicle was estimated at $5,000, and damage to Braasch’s vehicle was estimated at $5,000. Damage to the cable barrier was estimated at $1,000.

June 7, 2018

  • Lindsey Faye Wilson, 35, of 505 E. Vest St., Jefferson, was arrested on a warrant for violation of probation on an original charge of second-offense OWI.

June 8, 2018

  • Thomas Spencer Kormylo of 473 N. Paddington Pl., Star, Idaho, was traveling west on U.S. Interstate 80 when the trailer that he was pulling started to come around his vehicle, causing Kormulo to lose control of his vehicle, which entered the median, collided with the cable barrier and came to rest on top of the cable barrier along with the trailer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle and trailer was estimated at $15,000.00. Damage to the cable barrier was estimated at $2,000.
