March 1, 2022
- Austin Flynn of Ogden was traveling in the 22000 block of N Avenue when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $5,000.
March 8, 2022
- Debra Lucht of Minburn was traveling eastbound on Walnut Street in Minburn when a vehicle, driven by Eric Farber of Minburn, backed out of a driveway, and the vehicles collided. Lucht was transported to the hospital by Dallas County EMS. Damage to Lucht’s vehicle was estimated at $8,000, and damage to Farber’s vehicle was estimated at $2,000.
March 9, 2022
- Isaac Thiga of Johnston was traveling westbound near Linden and 17th streets in Dallas Center when his vehicle collided with a vehicle, driven by Kathryn Starry of Perry. Both drivers were examined at the scene by Dallas County EMS. Damage to Starry’s vehicle was estimated at $15,000, and damage to Thiga’s vehicle was estimated at $8,000. Thiga was issued a citation for failure to obey a stop sign and yield right of way.
- Ryan Stroud, 23, of 475 Laurel St., Waukee, was arrested on a warrant for second-degree theft and probation violation.
- Allison Jones, 28, of 1071 22nd St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for forgery.
March 10, 2022
- Anna Talbott, 23, of 1215 18th St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
