February 28, 2020
- Maxima DeLARosa Hernandez of Des Moines and Josh Neelaw of Des Moines were both sitting stationary in their vehicles due to a road blockage in the 24000 block of Iowa Highway 141 when they were sideswiped by a vehicle driven by Mokori Kelambi of Des Moines. Kelambi was unable to stop in time. No injuries were reported. Damage to Kelami’s vehicle was estimated at $5,000. Damage to DeLaRosa Hernandez’ vehicle was estimated at $5,000, and damage to Neelaw’s vehicle was estimated at $3,000. Kelambi was issued a citation for violation of instruction permit and failure to maintain control.
- Shawna Jenson, 37, of 1901 Horse-N-Buggy Dr., Adel, was arrested on a warrant for theft.
- Zachary Matthew Nelson, 19, of 106 Dooley Court S.W., Altoona, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation on original charges of theft and burglary.
March 1, 2020
- Chase Marcel Yetmar, 22, of 1697 105th St., Earlham, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for pretrial conference on an original charge of OWI.
- Donald Warren Lawrence, 70, of 1305 Sixth St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of public intoxication.
- Matthew Lester Wahlert, 36, of 19529 Jardine Lane, Adel, was cited and releaes at 1135 Main St. in Adel for driving while license revoked.
- Hunter Andersen of Des Moines was traveling in the 32000 block of Panther Creek Road when he lost control of his vehicle in a curve, and the vehicle entered the ditch and rolled. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $2,000. Andersen was issued a citation for failure to maintain control.
March 2, 2020
- Nicole Lynae Ryan Eppert, 41, of 2036 L Ave., Woodward, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while license denied.
