- William Kollie Freeman, 29, of 1509 16th St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance and forgery.
- Austin Gafford of Ankeny was traveling in the 23900 block of Iowa Highway 141 when he heard a loud “pop” and his vehicle to fishtail. Gafford was not able to retain control of the vehicle, which was pulling a trailer, and the vehicle entered the median. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle and trailer was estimated at $70,000.
