- Antoine Lawrence of St. Paul, Minn., was traveling east on U.S. Interstate 80 near the 110 mile marker when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $5,000.

- Gerald Anderson of Perry was traveling east in the 16000 block of Iowa Highway 141 Diagonal when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $5,000.
- Alexander Deelstra of London, Ontario, was traveling west on U.S. Interstate 80 near the 103 mile marker when his vehicle struck a previously stricken and mortally wounded deer in the roadway. Deelstra attempted to swerve around the carcass, entering the ditch and rolling several times. Minor injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated was at $7,000.
- Cristal Arroyo, 28, of 8224 Harbach Blvd., Clive, was arrested in the 28000 block of Iowa Highway 141 for driving under suspension and giving false information.
