- Larry Parker of Rocky Mount, N.C., was traveling near the 100 mile marker of U.S. Interstate 80 when his semi struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the semi was estimated at $10,000.

- Matthew Samuel McKibbon, 39, of 201 E. Mount Vernon, Wichita, Kan., was arrested on a warrant for probation violation on an original charge of domestic abuse assault.
