October 30, 2019

  • Trent Daniel Robinson, 25, of 2198 Lincoln Way, Arion, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of domestic abuse.
  • Randy Eugene Stonehocker, 30, of 29257 El Paso Ave., Redfield, was arrested in the 16000 block of 310th Trail in Redfield for eluding, possession of drug paraphernalia, no valid driver’s license, fraudulent use of registration, failure to yield to emergency vehicle, no proof of financial liability and operating a motor vehicle without registration card or plate.
  • Kathryn Marie Ansell, 53, of 700 Pershing Road, Maquoketa, was arrested at 16585 310th Trail in Redfield for possession of a controlled substance, interference with official acts, unlawful possession of prescription drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.

October 31, 2019

  • Michelle Smith of Omaha, Neb., was traveling west on U.S. Interstate 80 near the 112 mile marker when she was side-swiped by a vehicle driven by Dave Hendricks of Adel. No injuries were reported. Damage to Hendricks’ vehicle estimated at $5,000, and damage to Smith’s vehicle was estimated at $500.
  • Stephan Pomerlain of Matthews, N.C., was traveling west near the 112 mile marker of U.S. Interstate 80 when he lost control of his vehicle as it entered the bridge, and the vehicle jackknifed, coming to rest on top of the cable barrier. Ten poles were damaged in the crash. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $30,000.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
