Sept. 29, 2023
- Jacob Kroupa of Perry was merging onto Iowa Highway 141 when his vehicle struck a semi-tractor trailer, driven by Bryan Yetter of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. No injuries were reported, but Kroupa fled the scene, and a witness assisted law enforcement in locating him. Damage to each vehicle was estimated at $2,500. Kroupa was arrested on charges of driving while suspended and possession of drug paraphernalia and issued citations for no insurance and leaving the scene of an accident.
Oct. 3, 2023
- Devon Winterbottom, 25, of 3742 Brook Run Dr., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
- Eduardo Moneton, 23, of 2112 Meek Ave., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while suspended.
- Zackary Babcock of Urbandale was traveling in the right lane of 240th Street near T Avenue when he attempted to turn left and his vehicle collided with a vehicle, driven by Kelly Pierce of Panora. No injuries were reported. Damage to Babcock’s vehicle was estimated at $2,000. Pierce’s vehicle appeared to sustain no damage.
- Teri Arends, 44, of 7500 Bloomfield Road, Des Moines, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Oct. 4, 2023
- James Pena, 25, of 1616 Third St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while suspended.
- Morgan Stouffer, 24, of 145 N. Hull St., Truro, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while suspended.
