September 21, 2017

  • Veronica Madden from Davenport reported someone stole wedding cards with money in them from a box where she got married on 260th Street in Dallas Center.
  • Jacqueline Dee Dhabolt, 53, of 726 N. Seventh St., Chariton, was cited and released at First Avenue and Center Street in Perry for driving while license suspended.
  • Rita Compton of Jefferson was traveling east in the 25000 block of Iowa Highway 141 when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $8,000.
  • Wayne Gillett of Omaha was traveling east on Iowa Highway 44 and attempting to turn north onto J Avenue when the motorcycle he was operating hit gravel, and he lost control. The driver and passenger were transported to Mercy Medical Center by the Dallas County EMS. Damage to the motorcycle was estimated at $1,600.
  • Meghan Morrisey of Granger was traveling north in the 24000 block of V Avenue when her vehicle left the roadway and entered the ditch, rolling before coming to rest in the ditch. Morrisey was taken to Mercy Medical Center by the Dallas County EMS. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $1,000.
  • Jerrad Michael Runge, 38, of 509 N.W. Fifth St., Ankeny, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for arraignment on an original charge of driving while barred.

September 22, 2017

  • David Gale Cavin, 42, of 1020 West St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for show cause hearing on an original charge of child endangerment.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
