September 23, 2016

  • James Thomas Prine, 27, of 220 S. 10th St., Adel, was cited and released in the 25000 block of U.S. Highway 6 for driving while license suspended.
  • Dustin Ray Kern, 32, of 1404 Greene St., Adel, was arrested on a warrant for willful injury.
  • Daniel Ramirez, 33, of 2021 Fourth St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Amanda Marie Guzinski, 35, of 615 S.W. Seventh St., Stuart, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation on original charges of unauthorized use of a credit card and theft.
  • Caitlyn Lamm of Perry was stopped on N Avenue and preparing to turn left onto Fairgrounds Road when a vehicle driven by Alice Burress of Des Moines struck the rear of Lamm’s vehicle. No injuries were reported. Damage to Lamm’s vehicle was estimated at $3,000 and $6,000 to Burress’ vehicle. Burress was issued a citation for failure to stop in a safe and assured clear distance.

September 24, 2016

  • Estefani Guadalupe Reyes Hernandez, 22, of 1158 10th St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance.
  • Nicholas John Whitehead, 34, of 2920 Walker St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while license under suspension.
  • Sterling Bean of Earlham was traveling in the 30000 block of I Avenue when he was unaware of the curve in the road and went into the ditch. Bean and two passengers were taken to Methodist Main by parents and by the Dallas County EMS. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $5,000. Bean was issued a citation for failure to maintain control.

September 25, 2016

  • Michael Patrick Benton, 33, of 3837 E. 29th St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of assault on a peace officer and others.
  • Shane Matthew Onnen, 39, of 1820 Otley Ave., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
  • Laureen Mills of 13074 280th St. in Redfield reported vandalism to a mail box at this address.
  • Eric and Renee Farber of 716 Walnut St. in Minburn reported the theft of a toy riding tractor from their property.
