August 30, 2019

  • William Bruce Telleen, 44, of 3941Cambridge St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for theft and burglary.
  • Lindsey Ann Visser, 30, of 11428 Forest Ave., Clive, was arrested on a warrant for theft, identity theft and malicious prosecution.

August 31, 2019

  • James Noland Mickle, 30, of 601 Orchard Hills Dr., Norwalk, was arrested on a warrant for criminal mischief and operating a vehicle without owner’s consent.
  • Charles Edward Lee, 43, of 1105 11th St., West Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear and failure to pay child support.
  • Nell Poil, 39, of 1717 Woodland Ave., Des Moines, was arrested in the 13000 block of 120th Street in Rippey for controlled substance violation and possession of a controlled substance.

September 1, 2019

  • Jesse Lee Myers, 37, of 525 W. Van Buren St., Centerville, was arrested in the 30000 block of 360th Street in Booneville for interference with official acts and providing false identification information.
  • Tammy Jones of Winterset was traveling north on U.S. Highway 169 in De Soto when she attempted to make a right turn onto Ash Street, and her vehicle hit loose gravel, causing Jones to lose control of  the motorcycle. Minor injuries were reported to the driver and passenger. Damage to the motorcycle was estimated at $1,800.

September 2, 2019

  • Callie Vanlangen, 19, of 707 Broad St., Adair, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of theft.
  • Chase Gregory Beenken, 18, of 712 Case St., De Soto, was arrested at 208 Spruce St. in De Soto for controlled substance violation, failure to affix drug stamp and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Christopher Allen Johnston, 18, of 1700 N. Warrior Lane, Waukee, was arrested at 208 Spruce St. in De Soto for controlled substance violation, failure to affix drug stamp and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Danielle Cole of Woodward was traveling north in the 400 block of S. Main Street in Woodward and attempting to turn into the residence of 406 S. Main St. when her vehicle was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Wendy Cooper of Dallas Center. No injuries were reported. Damage to Cole’s vehicle was estimated at $5,000, and damage to Cooper’s vehicle was estimated at $7,500. Cooper was issued a citation for failure to stop in assured clear distance.
