Darrell Bever, 92, of Perry passed away Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2019, at the Rowley Memorial Masonic Community in Perry, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 31 at 11 a.m. at the First Christian Church in Perry. Visitation will be Friday, Aug. 30 from 5-7 p.m., with a Masonic service held at 7 p.m. at the Carris Family Funeral Home and Cremation Care in Perry. Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery at Minburn, Iowa.
Memorials will be given to Perry Food Pantry, Raccoon River Pet Rescue or First Christian Church and may be left at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent at www.carrisfuneralhome.com.
Left to cherish Darrell’s memory are his wife, Ernestine Bever of Perry; children, Deb (“Breezie” Hart) Davis of Ferris, Texas, Steven (Donna) Bever of Des Moines, Jim (Kathy) Bever of Boone and Diane (Jim) Cox of Minburn; daughter-in-law, Corrine Bever of Panora; and a sister, Doris Andrews of Clarion, Iowa.
