DOWS, Iowa — State and local law enforcement seek the public’s help in their investigation of a homicide that occurred Nov. 2 in this small Wright County town.
Franklin General Hospital EMS responded Tuesday to a report of an unattended death at 305 Park Ave. and discovered an unresponsive male, later identified as 30-year-old Mario Salvador Lopez.
The Wright County Sheriff’s office began an investigation into Lopez’s death and requested the assistance of the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation.
The office of the Iowa Medical Examiner is conducting an autopsy, and Lopez’s death is being investigated as a homicide.
