The National Weather Service (NWS) office in Des Moines has issued a dense fog advisory until noon Sunday for the Perry area and all of Iowa.
Visibility is forecast at one-quarter mile or less in the dense fog.
Hazardous driving conditions will prevail due to low visibility, the NWS said. Bridges and overpasses might become slippery.
Motorists are advised to slow down, use headlamps and leave plenty of distance ahead of vehicles.
