Memorial services were held for Dianne Lee Fagin, 81, of Perry Saturday, Nov. 24 at 7 p.m. at Murdock Funeral Home. Visitation was from 5-7 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be at a later date in Valley View Cemetery.
Dianne passed away Nov. 21, 2018, at her home in Perry, Iowa.
Dianne Lee Fagin was born June 17, 1937, in Lebanon, Mo., the daughter of John Thomas and Alpha (Hunter) Minton.
She lived in Perry for the past 50 years, working as a nurse’s aid in nursing homes in the area before her retirement.
Dianne married Lloyd Fagin Friday, Feb. 13, 1970, in Omaha, Neb. She loved to joke about how it was a lucky day for her and Lloyd.
Dianne enjoyed camping, traveling, reading, working in her vegetable garden, spending time with and walking her dog and, most of all, spending time with her family, especially the grandkids.
Survivors include her husband, Lloyd Fagin of Perry; daughter, Mary (Rafael) Costa of Cumberland, R.I.; five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Preceding Dianne in death were her parents; one son, John Fagin; one daughter, Karen (Fagin) Sheets; two grandchildren; and one brother, John T. Minton.
Memorials in Dianne’s name will be directed to the Animal Rescue League and may be sent to Murdock Funeral Home.
