Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 15 at Murdock Funeral Home for Don Winters. Burial will be in Violet Hill Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Friday, April 14, with the family receiving friends from 5-7 p.m. at Murdock’s. Memorials may be directed to St Croix Hospice in Don’s name and may be left or sent to Murdock Funeral Home.
Don passed away Monday, April 10, 2017, at Kennybrook Village in Grimes at the age of 81.
Survivors include his two sons, Mark Winters and Troy (Tommi) Winters of Granger; one daughter, Kim (Bill) Evanich of Goodyear, Ariz.; two brothers, Stan (Inez) Winters of Iowa Falls and Lawrence (Lena Mae) Winters of Hampton; one sister, Kay Wood of Grand Junction, Colo.; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
