Eldred James Bechard, 96, of Boone died Friday, March 8, 2024, at the Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames, Iowa. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 13 at the Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Grand Junction, Iowa.
Eldred is survived by his wife, Tita of Boone; son, Nick Bechard of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; daughters, Mary Lou Bechard of Rockford, Illinois, and Sally Bechard of Boone; grandchildren, Betsy Clayton of Grand Junction, Joe Elsberry of Ames, Cory Elsberry of Ogden and Tiffany Berry of Lake Havasu City; several great-grandchildren and
great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Ima Lee Erickson of Boone.
Hastings Funeral Home in Perry is in charge of arrangements.
