The Perry Volunteer Fire Department responded to a report of an electrical fire in the 1700 block of Warford Street shortly after 1 p.m. Monday.
No injuries were reported.
A caller said no smoke or flames were visible, but a strong odor of burnt wiring was discernible in a detached garage.
Firefighters investigated the report.
Officers of the Perry Police Department also responded.
