Esther G. Weaver, 104, of Jefferson passed away Thursday, Nov. 23, 2023, at her home in Jefferson, Iowa.
Visitation with family present will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 1 at the First United Methodist Church in Jefferson. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 2 also at the church. Burial will take place in the Jefferson Cemetery.
Esther is survived by her eight grandchildren, Erin (Anthony) Stokes of Washington, Kelly Cadden of Washington, Charles Francis (Katherine) Thompson of Alendale, N.J., Kristina Kay (Duane) Mullen of Castlewood, S.D., John Kurt Thompson of Ames, Matthew Oren (Leah) Thompson of Jefferson, Michael Kieth (Rebecca) Thompson of Des Moines and Philip Wesley Thompson of Boone; five great-grandchildren; sons-in-law, Charles Thompson of Jefferson and Bill Cadden; and stepchildren, Donald (Kathy) Buswell, Michael Buswell, Linda (Larry) Booth, Sheri Parks, Susan (John) Harman and Dorene (Jack) Tuhn.
Hastings Funeral Home in Jefferson is in charge of arrangements.
